The Department of Classics is please to announce that Prof. Walter Scheidel, Stanford University, will present the 13th Annual Raoul Bertrand Lecture in Classics.
He will present his lecture titled "The First Rise and Fall of the One Percent: Ancient Inequality in Global Context."
The lecture will be held in HUM 587, on Wednesday, MArch 14, at 7:30 pm, with a reception to follow.
