Classics Spring Lecture Series

The Department of Classics and the Classics Students Association are please to announce the 2018 Spring Lecture Series.

This year, the topic will be Invisible Voices: The Forgotten Majorityof the Classical World, and will feature:

    Integrated but Unequal: The Census as a Lens on Roman Political Culture

    Eutropius the Consul: Power, Ugliness, and Imperial Representation in Late Antiquity
  • Richard Saller (Stanford University)
    Gender and Slavery in the Roman Household

The lecures will be held every Wednesday in April, at 7pm in HUM 587, with reception to follow.
